Abstract
E.ON Climate & Renewables UK Rampion Offshore Wind Ltd (E.ON) is proposing the development of the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm (‘the Project’) off the Sussex coast. As a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) under section 14(3) of the Planning Act 2008 and, owing to the size and nature of the project, an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) has been undertaken in accordance with the Infrastructure Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2009.
This document is an Environmental Statement (ES) produced as a result of the EIA process and is being submitted in support of an application for a Development Consent Order (DCO) for the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm, including associated development, to the Secretary of State under Section 37(3)(d) of the Planning Act 2008.
