Abstract
The consultant was commissioned by Hepburn Community Wind Park CoWoperative (Ltd) to conduct an assessment of the bat fauna at the Hepburn Community Wind Farm, Leonards Hill, 10km south of Daylesford, Victoria. The wind farm is comprised of two turbines located in an open paddock. The study was designed to be conducted in two phases: pre-construction survey in Spring 2010, and a follow up survey in Summer 2011 when seasonal bay activity was expected to be highest. This report provides results and interpretations of the final survey, conducted in January 2011.
