Abstract
This report documents the eleventh operational year of the Belwind offshore wind farm, highlighting both ongoing operations and new research initiatives. The facility participated in the United project, a Horizon 2020 research program studying oyster restoration and seaweed aquaculture within wind farms, with installation of oyster restoration tables at two turbine locations. Environmental monitoring continued through MUMM coordination, including bird assessments, fish monitoring, and fouling organism studies. The facility showed improved navigation safety with only one vessel intrusion recorded, down from 14 in 2020. Operations continued under COVID-19 protocols for a second year, with implemented measures including team constellations and testing protocols. The report also details the implementation of a new cable repair framework called Safe Link project to ensure rapid response to potential cable failures.
