Abstract
This report documents operations and environmental monitoring at the Belwind offshore wind farm during its eighth operational year. The facility consists of 55 V90 wind turbines and one GE Haliade demo turbine. While no new construction occurred in 2018, the facility supported ongoing environmental research coordinated by MUMM, including bird assessments, fish monitoring, and studies of fouling organisms on foundations. The report details maintenance activities, including extensive blade repairs and the completion of 8-year maintenance services. Notable was the facility's support of the Edulis project, studying offshore mussel farming within the wind farm area. The report also documents navigation safety compliance, with 13 vessel intrusion incidents recorded throughout the year requiring monitoring responses.
