Abstract
The 5th Symposium of the Scottish Marine Energy Research Programme (ScotMER), organized by Marine Scotland, presented recent research on seabirds, fish and fisheries, marine mammals, diadromous fish, ecosystem level research and socioeconomics, in relation to offshore renewable developments in Scotland.
The Ornithology 1 session featured the following presentations:
- Risk of collision and displacement in petrels & shearwaters from offshore wind developments in Scotland (Zoe Deakin, RSPB)
- Strategic Review of migratory routes (Aonghais Cook, BTO)
- Further Development of the sCRM tool (Bruno Caneco, DMP)
- The use of LiDAR to Determine Seabird Flight Height (Laura Jervis, APEM Ltd)
