Senckenberg Biodiversity and Climate Research Centre
The Senckenberg Biodiversity and Climate Research Center (SBiK-F) was jointly established in 2008 as the Biodiversity and Climate Research Center of the Senckenberg Gesellschaft für Naturforschung (SGN) as the sponsor of the Senckenberg Research Institutes and Natural Museums (SFN) and the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main (GU) founded with the Institute for Social-Ecological Research (ISOE) and other partners. The Center is part of the Senckenberg Society for Natural Science as of 1 January 2015. With the integration, the new " Senckenberg Biodiversity and Climate Research Center " also became part of the Leibniz Association.
