The foundation of Canary Islands´ Ornithology and Natural History Group (GOHNIC) in 2012 united aims after years of similar concerns and works related to the study and conservation of our Natural Heritage. A good part of their time had been dedicated, professionally as well as voluntarily, to research and popular science mainly in the field of Ornithology. Discovering and communicating what is happening to birds in insular environments continues to be one of the primary subjects of interest.
