Abstract
This report supplements the Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind Construction and Operations Plan.
The purpose of Atlantic Shores’ Fisheries Monitoring Plan (Monitoring Plan) is to provide a comprehensive means to document baseline environmental conditions relevant to fisheries in the WTA and to prescribe how to monitor those conditions throughout construction and operation of the proposed offshore wind facilities. This will allow Atlantic Shores to understand potential changes in the fisheries in the WTA throughout various phases of a project life-cycle. The Monitoring Plan has been prepared in consideration of a variety of fisheries related federal, state, and stakeholder guidance and the requirements set forth in 30 CFR Part 585 Subpart F (30 CFR § 585.626 and § 585.633). This draft plan will be implemented in support of both Projects. Individual plans for Project 1 and Project 2 will be developed for BOEM review and acceptance prior to construction with each Project’s Facility Design Report and/or Fabrication and Installation Report.
