Abstract
This report documents the fifth operational year of the Belwind offshore wind farm, located 46km off the Belgian coast. While no new construction occurred in 2015, the facility maintained high availability (99.8%) and achieved its highest production year to date. Notable environmental monitoring activities included continued fish telemetry studies, scientific diving programs, and new bat monitoring initiatives at the offshore high voltage station. The report details how a fish telemetry system was relocated to the seabed after being damaged by wave action, and describes the implementation of new scientific diving protocols. Environmental research expanded to include bat presence monitoring, revealing some nocturnal bat activity around the offshore structures. The report also covers routine maintenance activities and compliance with permit conditions.
