The 7th International Conference on Ocean Engineering (ICOE 2025) is a prestigious event organized by the Department of Ocean Engineering, IIT Madras, a leader in engineering education and research in India. For this event the department invites the ocean engineering community across the world to publicise their latest research The Department of Ocean Engineering has significantly contributed to ocean engineering-related education and research in India. The conference was previously held in Chennai (1996, 2001, 2009, and 2018), Mauritius (2019), and Germany (2019). The prior editions attracted high-quality submissions from around the world.
ICOE 2025 will focus on the "Blue Economy," highlighting sustainable ocean resource use and engineering innovations. This platform is a unique opportunity for academicians, experts from industry, policymakers, and administrators to exchange knowledge, present research, and collaborate on key ocean engineering challenges. All participants will receive participation certificates. Fees for the registration will be waived for students who qualify. There are also prizes for the best papers and posters.
The conference includes a dedicated section on ocean renewable energy and is proudly sponsored by IEEE. Furthermore, all accepted full-length papers will be published in Springer Proceedings and indexed in Scopus, ensuring high visibility and recognition for contributors.
ICOE 2025 serves as a global platform to exchange cutting-edge research and advancements in ocean engineering, with a strong focus on sustainability, including topics such as offshore renewable energy, wave-structure interaction, and the Blue Economy.
