The International Energy Agency's Ocean Energy Systems (IEA-OES) announced that the next edition of the International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE 2026), will take place in The Hague, Netherlands. This energy conference, especially focused on wave, tidal, ocean currents, OTEC and salinity gradient technologies, will be organized by the Dutch Energy from Water Association (EWA), in collaboration with partners Campus@Sea, The Hague & Partners, Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP), TU Delft, IRO and NedZero.
ICOE is a biennial conference that plays a key role in advancing ocean energies worldwide. It brings together leading professionals, researchers, policymakers, and supply chain experts from across the globe to share the latest research, technologies, and best practices.
The conference will include technical sessions, panel discussions, and workshops focused on the latest trends and challenges in the ocean energy sector, alongside an exhibition showcasing cutting-edge technologies. In 2025 more information about the location, dates and topics will be communicated.
